This past August long weekend I was able to help a handful of dedicated mule riders in my Trail Partnership Clinic. Personally, for me helping people with their mules is what it’s all about for me. I can not explain my passion for this animal.
Helping the riders to understand just how the mule’s mind might work and just how little force or contact you really need to make the mule work for you, always makes me smile when it comes through for the rider. Riders soon find out just how little effort it takes to get a willing partner.
We were able to negotiate through some fun obstacles set up in the yard then off to the trails including roads, creeks and negation through the bush. We even though in some longhorn cows just for fun. Even some of the seasoned trail riders found some of the obstacles a challenge!!
The Camping setting with a community cook tent added to the weekend with lots of stories told around the campfire. That’s what its all about. When the mule training clinic was over I felt a great warmth as everyone had many successes and accomplishments with their mules. I can’t wait for next years plans.
Its is an honour to be able to carry on the business that BRAD CAMERON and Cameron Mule Company spent a lifetime building. Being able to work so closely with my mentor learning first hand that these mule training videos and DVD’s are worth their weight in gold. Brad Cameron’s ability to break down the moves so that they are manageable for both the rider and animal set these mule training videos apart from all other videos. Each video builds on the previous one to take you along from even the most inexperienced to the more advanced. I can attest first hand that the information in these mule training videos work as I practice them every day in my riding. The information in these videos and Brad Cameron’s calm nature show you what it takes to get a very willing partner. Being able to work with Brad for many years set my own training into a level I thought I would never attain. Hard work, dedication, patience, and a will to improve myself everyday is what I live by.
